This page describes the Bureacrats group on the FOAF Wiki.
Important:
- please note that this is an open, experimental and federated system
- bureaucrat user accounts may have this status without wanting it
- OpenID URIs for bureacrats have been 'pre-approved' for additional powers here, based on external information (for example, posts from a collaborating wiki eg. danbri.org).
A Bureaucrat in mediawiki is an account with additional administrative powers, such as moving, deleting, renaming pages, blocking spammers, etc.
In the future, the scripts used to manage this may be packaged into addons for MediaWiki (and Wordpress).
